At Sea, December 8 - (late)
Today has been absolutely frustrating - there’s been no internet for almost 24 hours and it’s still not back completely. How on earth did we all cope in the old days - send a postcard from every port??? But it’s created a new topic of conversation and literally everyone is in the same boat!!!!! Seems the satellite connection was lost due storm activity but all the ‘experts’ are saying it shouldn’t happen.
So other than that it was a fairly quiet day on board - the usual activities on offer were probably patronised by those that play bingo, menza, darts, table tennis, Texas hold’em tournament, hula dance class, jazz dance class, slot tournament, guess that tune, skeeball, bridge, needlepoint, and bocce etc but I just read and played mahjong. Will go to the show tonight as is the Piano Showman, Chris Hamilton, again.
My mahjong ladies are leaving the ship in Singapore so I’ll miss them.
Apologies for not replying to emails, texts, etc today, funny thing is I was able to do Wordle!
