Indian Ocean, December 3

Up really early this morning to watch friend Helen’s funeral in Melbourne. A very sad start to the day.  We are slowly cruising towards Male in the Maldives and will be there in the morning.  We actually had a few showers of rain this morning - quite nice for a change but the humidity is high.

I played mahjong for two hours after lunch, was great!  My student 😂is playing really well and we have a nice English lady who joins us now.

There’s not a lot of news, just another day of too much lovely food which is hard to resist.  We had dinner in the main dining room, Compass Rose, tonight, shared a table with the on board Bridge instructors from California.

I’ve just come back from a great show - the cast did songs and dance from Spain, New York, India and finally Ireland.  The dancing was amazing especially the Irish segment.

Tomorrow we’re anchoring in Male, will be there for two days.  I wouldn’t have thought there’d be enough things to do to be honest but there is snorkelling, underwater submarine, beach escapades to various areas, scenic flights, walking tours, etc.    I’m doing something on the second day.

No other news, you’ll have to make that a short black this morning, Annie!!!!
